
Four RedHawks Earn Academic All-MAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Four members of the Miami University women's basketball team were named Academic All-MAC on Thursday afternoon. Amber Tretter, Núria Jurjo, Katey Richason and Lakresha Edwards were all honored by the league office.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. Freshman and first-year transfers are not eligible for this award.

Amber Tretter, So., Architecture, 4.00 GPA
Núria Jurjo, So., Computer Science, 3.86 GPA
Katey Richason, Sr., Speech Pathology, 3.83 GPA
Lakresha Edwards, So., Sociology, 3.74 GPA
