YPSILANTI, Mich.-- The Miami women's indoor team finished the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in seventh place with 60 points. Abby Suszek led the way for the RedHawks as she set a new MAC Championships record and a new school record with a win in the 400-meter dash.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the women's 400-meter dash finals, Suszek finished in first place with a time of 53.49 seconds. Suszek beat former RedHawk Olivia Bechtel's time from 2020 by a total of .04 seconds. Suszek's time will also be converted to a new school record. Lucca Agate finished in seventh place in the women's 400-meter dash finals with a time of 55.45 seconds. Suszek also ran in the 200-meter dash finals and finished in sixth place with a time of 24.52 seconds. In the women's 60-meter dash finals, Ella Scally finished in sixth place (7.58 seconds) and Keira McGregor took seventh (7.61 seconds). The 4x400-meter relay team of Rachel Smith, Keena Sanders, Suszek, and Agate finished in third place with a time of 3:49.53.
- On the field for the women, Santornya Ralliford finished in ninth place in the shot put event with 13.73 meters.
- In the women's 800-meter finals, Eve Traficanti finished in seventh place with a personal-best time of 2:12.30. After setting a new PR by .01 seconds on day one, Traficanti did the same thing again in the finals, beating her Friday time by .01 seconds. Traficanti ranks 10th in RedHawk history for the 800-meter.
