Senior Skaters Take Seventh in CS U.S. International Classic

BOSTON, Mass. — The Miami senior team took home seventh place in Boston this weekend in the CS U.S. International Classic. The team skated hard on Friday and Saturday nights against a competitive, eight-team international field.

- On Friday night, the RedHawks skated in the short program and posted a score of 56.13, which placed the team seventh in the eight-team competition.
- For their short program, the team's technical element score was 28.20 and the team's program component score was 28.93; both were seventh-best out of the competitive field.
- The Red and White were the second team to skate on Saturday evening and posted a free skate score of 116.39, which was 17 points better than the closest competitor.
- Miami's technical element score came in at 59.59 and their program component score came in at 57.80. The team's final score came in at 172.52.
- Team Les Supremes won the CS U.S. International Classic with a final score of 225.20, with Team Unique (224.53) and the Haydenettes (218.77), coming in second and third respectively.

- The Miami collegiate team will skate next in Mentor, Ohio in the Tri-State Competition on Saturday, February 15.
