OXFORD, Ohio— Miami University Athletics announced today that the start times for home hockey games against Denver on Feb. 21 and 22 at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena have changed. The RedHawks' home game on Friday, Feb. 21 against the Pioneers will now begin at 5:30 p.m. The game the following night between Miami and Denver on Saturday, Feb. 22 will start at 6:05 p.m. Both games had previously been scheduled to begin at 7:05.
The RedHawks-Pioneers matchups are part of a busy weekend of Miami Athletics events in Oxford. Friday night's schedule includes the Cradle of Coaches induction dinner at 5:30 p.m., an evening session of the Missouri Valley Conference men's swimming and diving championships at 6 p.m. and a nationally-televised men's basketball matchup against Kent State at 8 p.m. in addition to the hockey contest. Saturday's slate of home events includes a women's basketball game against Buffalo at 1 p.m., a synchronized skating exhibition at 3:30 p.m., and the last sessions of the MVC men's swim/dive championships at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Miami Basketball will also hold its annual
Love.Honor.Care recognition (and accompanying charity auction) as part of that weekend's men's and women's games at Millett Hall.
Miami Hockey's games against Denver Feb. 21-22 will still stream on NCHC.tv and can also be seen LIVE on Rock Entertainment Sports Network in Ohio both nights.
