Weber Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND-- Miami junior Michael Weber was named the Mid-American Conference's Golfer of the Week, the MAC announced today. Weber led the RedHawks to a sixth-place team finish at the Border Olympics in Laredo, Texas last week, ending the tournament with a total of eight birdies and a final score of 214, or one over par. Weber, a junior Sport Management major from Burlington, Ontario, tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard out of 84 golfers.
The RedHawks return to action March 8-9 at the University of Michigan's Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Ariz.
