Tretter Named MAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

CLEVELAND— The Mid-American Conference announced today that Miami junior forward Amber Tretter has been named the MAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Tretter averaged 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.5 assists per games in a pair of wins over Cincinnati and Western Kentucky. The Ferdinand, Ind. native scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds in an OT win over the Bearcats, which included a fade-away jumper as time expired in regulation to send the game to extra time. She then posted 20 points and five boards in an 80-53 victory against the Lady Toppers. She was 5-of-7 from long range against WKU.
Tretter and the RedHawks will be back in action Sunday, Dec. 14 at Colorado at 3 p.m. ET.
