RedHawks Add More Synapse Sports National Awards

To go along with Iñako Puzo's National Coach of the Year and Malena Sabez's Rookie of the Year awards, the Miami University field hockey team captured six other Synapse Sports recognitions. Berta Mata was named First-Team All-American and Sabez added Second-Team All-American honors as well a spot on the national all-rookie team. Joining Sabez on the all-rookie team were Jülia Fernandez, Bet Gifra and Justina Intzes.
Mata joins Paula Portugal (2018) as just the second RedHawk to earn First-Team All-American honors in program history.
