
Tretter Honored as MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week ... Again

CLEVELAND-- For the second straight week Amber Tretter has been named Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Thursday morning by the league office.
Tretter averaged 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game in a pair of wins over Cincinnati and Western Kentucky this past week. The junior scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds in an OT win over the Bearcats, which included a fade-away jumper as time expired in regulation to send the game to extra time. She then posted 20 points and five boards in an 80-53 victory against the Lady Toppers, giving her back-to-back 20-point outings for the first time in her career. She was 5-of-7 from long range against WKU.
Tretter is an architecture major in the College of Creative Arts.
