OXFORD, Ohio— The Miami University hockey team is ranked in today's USA Hockey poll, checking in at No. 20. The RedHawks are also receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll for the fourth week in a row. Miami is 7-1-0 (1-1-0 NCHC) after a home split with Arizona State last weekend, earning its first NCHC win under head coach Anthony Noreen Saturday night with a 5-2 triumph.
The RedHawks return to the USA Hockey poll for the first time since Oct. 26, 2015 (when that ranking was only comprised of 15 teams).
Miami Hockey is off this weekend before returning to action Friday, Nov. 14 at Western Michigan to battle the defending national champion Broncos. Puck drop in Kalamazoo, Mich. is set for 7 p.m.
