Field Hockey Historic Run Ends in NCAA Tourney Elite Eight
RedHawks Only Team to Knock Off a Host Team in First Round
The deepest NCAA run in Miami Field Hockey history came to a close Sunday after Miami fell to Northwestern 3-2 in the Elite Eight during the final minutes of play. The 11th-ranked RedHawks seized an electric 2-1 win in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against host No. 4 Virginia on Friday to advance to the final eight for the first time in MAC history. Miami finished the season with a 16-5 record with its only losses coming against the nation's top-ranked teams.

Miami Men's Basketball rolled to a 76-61 win at Air Force last Saturday to move to 3-0 on the season. Miami returns home for a pair of games, hosting Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23. Thursday's game is Miami's Cradle of Coaches game and a Black Out with rally towels for the first 500 fans. Get your tickets today!

Miami Hockey returns home this weekend to host St. Cloud State. Both games are Cradle of Coaches games for the RedHawks with rally towels for the first 1,000 fans at the doors on Friday. Friday will be the annual Teddy Bear Toss and there will be a toy drive at both games with donations going to local charities. Get your tickets today! The RedHawks dropped a pair of games at Western Michigan over the weekend.

Miami Volleyball clinched a spot as the No. 5 seed in the MAC Tournament in Bowling Green, Ohio for the MAC Tournament and will face No. 4 seed Toledo Friday at 4 p.m. The RedHawks extended their win streak to five straight with a four-set win against last Friday against Eastern Michigan before dropping a hard-fought five-set decision to the Eagles on Saturday.

Miami Cross Country wrapped up its season at the Great Lakes Regional with the women's team placing 12th and the men's team finishing 14th. Marisa Heil led the Miami women, placing 34th overall. Petros Sanchez led the RedHawk men, finishing 62nd.
Miami Swimming & Diving host the annual Miami Invitational Nov. 19-22.
Both Miami Synchronized Skating teams are in action this week. The RedHawk senior team competes in the Boston Classic Nov. 22-23, while the Miami collegiate team opens the season at the Kalamazoo Kickoff Nov. 23.
Miami Athletics RedHawk Council is sponsoring a canned food/non-perishable item drive through Monday, November 24 to help those in need in Oxford Community. Fans who donate five non-perishable items at the Miami Athletics Ticket Office (on gameday or during normal business hours) may receive a voucher for a free ticket to a future select Miami Athletics event. Donations will go to TOPPS and the Miami Food Pantry.
