Final Results

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Miami University golf team wrapped up the final day of the Fighting Irish Classic today after a brief weather delay, finishing 13th overall with a team score of 881. Highest on the leaderboard for the RedHawks was Brett Podobinski, who shot an overall eight over par, landing him in 46th.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Podobinski (74-70-74=218) shot four over par in his final round today. He finished tied for 46th, with five birdies throughout the tournament.
Tyler Anderson (73-72-76=221) shot six over par today, with two birdies. He finished with a final score of 11 over par, putting him tied for 58th.
Cameron Pero (66-79-79=224) shot nine over par in his final round, with one birdie on the 13th hole. He finished tied for 66th.
Nathan Vonderhaar (78-72-74=224) shot four over par today, with two birdies. He jumped three spots on the leaderboard to finish the tournament tied for 66th.
Liam Nelson (72-80-79=231) shot nine over par today, with four birdies throughout the tournament. He finished in 81st.

Individual RedHawk Golfers Post Strong Showing at Put Me In Coach Invite

MUNCIE, Ind. — Four individuals from the Miami Men's Golf Team finished their final round of the Put Me In Coach Invite today. Michael Stagnaro and Joseph Canitano both earned top-10 finishes, placing seventh and eighth, respectively.

Stagnaro (72-73-67=212) had a strong final round, posting five birdies, with three of them consecutively on the second, third and fourth holes. He shot three under par today, lifting him eight spots on the leaderboard to finish seventh overall.
Canitano (71-72-70=213) shot even par today, lifting him one spot on the leaderboard to finish tied for eighth.
Dean Upholzer (71-77-69=217) shot one under par in his final round, with three birdies, and a bogey-free front nine. He jumped seven spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for fourteenth.
Michael Weber (70-71-76=217) shot six over par today, with two birdies. He finished the tournament tied for fourteenth.
