
Kahren Named MAC Defensive Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio—Miami University volleyball senior libero/defensive specialist Lindsay Kahren was named the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week following her performances last week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Kahren totaled 37 digs (5.29 digs/set) and went 42-for-43 (.977) in serve receive over two matches against Western Michigan and Northern Illinois. On Thursday night, Kahren had 14 digs and one assist versus Western Michigan. On Friday night's three-set win against the Huskies, she recorded a match-high 23 digs and two assists.
This is the second MAC weekly award for a RedHawk this season and the first for Kahren.
