The Miami University football team puts its five-game win streak on the line Tuesday, Nov. 4 versus Ohio. Opening kick is slated for 7 p.m. and will be carried live on ESPN2.
About Miami
• Miami football ranks first all-time in the Mid-American Conference in wins (738), conference wins (327), MAC Championships (17) and bowl wins (9).  Historically, Miami's 738 career wins are third all-time among Group-of-Five programs, behind just Navy (753) and Army (742).
• Miami was 4-14 in Coach Martin's first 18 Mid-American Conference games. Since then, the RedHawks are 53-19 in their last 72 games versus schools from the MAC, the best in the conference during that span.
• The RedHawks have now won 11-straight MAC regular season contests, dating back to Oct. 12, 2024 and are 20-2 in their last 22 MAC games.
• Miami has competed in five straight bowl games and has been bowl-eligible in eight of the past nine seasons. The RedHawks are coming off a 43-17 win over Colorado State in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl last season.

• Chuck Martin was named Miami head coach on Dec. 3, 2013.
• He was named a 2023 Finalist for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award after an 11-3 season.
• Not only was he 74-7 in six years at Grand Valley State (2004-09), he has coached in seven national championship games in the past 22 seasons. Â
• Martin has an all-time head coaching record of 144-77.
• He is 70-70 all-time at Miami (55-33 in MAC play) and has won more games at Miami than any other coach. The previous high was held by Randy Walker (60 wins).
• Martin is the longest tenured active coach in the MAC.
• He has twice been named the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) National Coach of the Year and has been a coordinator on both sides of the ball.
• Martin was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Grand Valley State University on Oct. 23, 2015.

Ohio is 5-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play. The Bobcats are coming off back-to-back wins over Northern Illinois (48-21) and Eastern Michigan (28-21). Quarterback Parker Navarro has thrown for 1,786 yards and 11 touchdowns through the air and has added 504 yards and four scores on the ground.
Series History Versus The Bobcats
Miami leads the all-time series 56-43-2 against Ohio in the Battle of the Bricks. The rival programs have faced off every year since 1945 except for 2020 (COVID) and last season these two programs squared off in the MAC Championship Game for the first time in conference history.
Last Meeting With The Bobcats
Miami fell 38-3 last season versus Ohio in the MAC Championship on Dec. 7, 2024. The RedHawks opened the contest with a 29-yard field goal before OU scored the next 38 points.
Western Michigan Recap
Trailing 17-9 entering the fourth quarter, Miami outscored Western Michigan 17-0 in the final 15 minutes of play to secure a 26-17 victory over the Broncos. Dequan Finn threw for 260 yards and a score and added 52 yards and another touchdown with his legs. Dom Dzioban was a perfect 4-of-4 on field goals, including a 51-yard boot with 1:56 to play to ice the contest.
Going Streaking
Last Saturday was Miami's fifth-straight win, the third straight season they have posted a win steak of at least five games. In 2023 the RedHawks won six straight and last year Miami rolled off seven-straight wins to advance to the MAC Championship game.
King Cole
Cole Weaver set a new career high for catches (9) and yards (96) in Saturday's win. Weaver, who now has 21 grabs for 251 yards this year, entered 2025 with just two catches for 38 yards.
Pass Pros
Western Michigan came into last Saturday's contest, leading the nation with 28 sacks through the first seven games of 2025. After 60 minutes of play versus Miami's offensive line, the Broncos walked away with zero sacks and had just three pressures all contest.
Special, Special Teams
Miami is one of two schools (James Madison) this season to record a kick return for a touchdown and block multiple punts. In fact, Miami is the only school in the country to have a special teams unit that has scored via the kick return (100-yards by Keith Reynolds vs. UNLV), punt block (Jermaine Agee 8-yard return vs. Lindenwood) and safety (blocked punt by Agee through the back of the end zone).

Kam Perry currently averages 27.8 yards per reception, which ranks first in the country. After posting just 10 catches for 166 yards last season, the junior has already recorded three 100-yard games this season. He had 108 yards at Rutgers, 122 versus UNLV and 122 against Lindenwood. Last week versus WMU Perry had four grabs for 98 yards.
Magic Trick
Adam Trick currently ranks 10th nationally with 6.5 sacks and has already surpassed his career best (4.5), set last season. He posted 2.0 sacks at Wisconsin and recorded sacks in three-straight games versus Lindenwood (1.0), NIU (1.0) and Akron (1.5). Trick is one of 11 RedHawks to post a sack this season. Combined, Miami has recorded 25 sacks, which ranks 10th in the country.

• Most of that damage came during his time at Toledo. In 45 career games with the Rockets, Finn threw for 7,074 yards and 63 scores, while adding 1,840 yards and 25 touchdowns on the ground.Â
• He earned first-team All-MAC and was the MAC Player of the Year in 2023 and is the only player in Toledo football history to throw for over 2,000 yards and rush for 500 yards in multiple seasons (2021, 2022, 2023).
