Gonzalez Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the third time this season, Enjulina Gonzalez has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week.
The sophomore averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists over the past week, helping the RedHawks to a 1-1 record. She shot .585 (17-29) from the field and .556 (5-9) from behind the arc in the two-game stretch.
Gonzalez opened the week with 25 points (20 in the first half) and a career-best seven rebounds in a win at NIU and followed that up with 16 points, four assists and three rebounds at Buffalo.
Gonzalez and the RedHawks host Akron Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m.
