BARK RIVER, Mich.— The RedHawks finished sixth out of 12 teams after round three of the Island Resort Intercollegiate with a score of 10 above par (874) as a team. Miami was four under par in Monday's action. Brett Podobinski paced the Red and White with a total score of 214 for the tournament, or two under par.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Podobinski tied for ninth overall with a 75-70-69--214.
- Morgan Blythe shot a 74-75-67--216 for even par and came in 19th after posting the RedHawks' best round of the tournament Monday.
- Nathan Vonderhaar shot a 78-72-70--220 and moved to 33rd place.
- Liam Nelson (77-73-78--228) and Matthew Mattioli (74-76-78--228) tied for 59th place overall.
- Competing as an individual, Sam West went 74-75-73--222 and placed 38th.
- With a team score of 874 after three rounds, the RedHawks placed sixth, finishing one stroke ahead of seventh-place UCF. Purdue took first place with a score of 18 under par.
