Be there for the 128th edition of the Battle for the Victory Bell! The RedHawks were edged in their season-opener at Northwestern last weekend, 13-6. Miami Volleyball opened the 2024 campaign with a bang under first-year head coach Dan Gwitt, posting a 3-0 start to the season to win the Norfolk State Invitational. The RedHawks hammered out 3-0 wins against Lamar and Gardner-Webb on Friday and finished things off with a 3-1 win against host Norfolk State on Saturday. Ava Francis was tabbed Tournament MVP, and Anna McClure joined her on the All-Tournament Team. Miami heads to the Evansville Invitational this weekend, facing Samford and Chicago State on Friday and host Evansville on Saturday. Miami Athletics has announced the 2024-25 Swoop's Kids Club, an opportunity for our RedHawk fans ages 0-12! The exclusive club provides free and discounted ticket options, gameday and behind-the-scenes opportunities, a Miami tote bag full of Miami-branded items AND MUCH MORE! The 2024-25 Swoop's Kids Club will have four levels of membership options for fans to choose from, including the All-Season Package ($65), the Fall Package ($45), the Winter Package ($45), Swag Only Package ($25). MIAMI ANNOUNCES 2024 HALL OF FAME CLASS
Miami University Athletics will recognize eight worthy and deserving candidates in its Hall of Fame Class of 2024. This year's Hall of Fame Class is Steve Baker '19 (administration), Lori Brown '78 (administration), Dane Campbell '93 (wrestling), Champy Halim '99 (tennis), Pei Lin '18 (diving), Alec Martinez '09 (hockey), Ryne Robinson '13 (football/baseball) and Ashley Swinehart '04 (soccer). The 2024 class will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 27 with a dinner. Registration deadline for the Hall of Fame dinner is Wednesday, Sept. 18.
