Volleyball Unveils 2024 Schedule

OXFORD, Ohio—Miami University Volleyball has announced its full schedule for the 2024 season. This schedule features 29 matches, with nine being played at Millett Hall. The RedHawks begin their season by playing in four invitationals before starting conference play.

After an away exhibition against Morehead State on Saturday, Aug. 24, Miami starts its season at the Norfolk State Invitational, where the RedHawks will take on Gardner Webb (Aug. 30), Lamar (Aug. 30) and Norfolk State (Aug. 31).

The Red and White begin the month of September by traveling to the Evansville Invitational. Miami will face off with Samford (Sept. 6), Chicago State (Sept. 6) and the host Purple Aces (Sept. 7).

The Valparaiso Invitational is the next stop for the RedHawks, as they take on Valparaiso (Sept. 13), Purdue Fort Wayne (Sept. 13) and Cornell (Sept. 14).

The Red and White close out non-conference play at the Northern Kentucky Invitational. Miami is set to take on Xavier Friday, Sept. 20 and Northern Kentucky Saturday, Sept. 21.

The RedHawks open up conference play at home by taking on Central Michigan Sept. 26-27. Miami's next home match comes against Ball State on Tuesday, Oct. 8. That same week, the Red and White welcome Buffalo on Friday, Oct. 11, and Akron on Saturday, Oct. 12. The RedHawks then open the month of November hosting Bowling Green (Nov. 1-2). The RedHawks close out their schedule by entertaining Northern Illinois in a pair of matches on Nov. 15-16.

Weekday home matches will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a 4 p.m. start time set for each weekend match at Millett Hall.

Miami begins away conference matches at Eastern Michigan (Oct. 4-5). The next road contests are at Kent State (Oct. 18) and rival Ohio (Oct. 19). The remaining road opponents are Toledo (Oct. 24-25), Western Michigan (Nov. 8-9) and Ball State (Nov. 12).

Season ticket pricing is $40 for the general public and $28 for Miami University Faculty/Staff, with all fees included. Faculty/Staff must call in to get the discounted price. A limited number of courtside seats are also available for $70.
