
Women's Swim and Dive Take Second at Day Two of MAC Championships

ATHENS, Ohio— The Miami University women's swimming and diving team had a strong performance during day two of the MAC Championships finishing second for the day with 241.5 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The day kicked off with the 500 freestyle and top finishes from the RedHawks. Nicole Maier finished first with a time of 4:40.30 alongside Greta Kolbeck in second (4:45.35).
- Following that, in the 200 IM, Kaylin Herbet took second place finishing in 1:59.74.
- In the 50 freestyle, Honor Brodie-Foy placed fourth for the RedHawks with a time of 22.79.
- For diving events, Sydney Rice placed third in B finals (247.95) and Mia Meinhardt fifth (229.25).
- To end the day, Madeline Padavic, Sara Lahrach-Sanchez, McKenzie Reid and Maier finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:36.09, setting another program record.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The women will compete again tomorrow, March 1, with preliminary events beginning at 10 a.m. followed by the finals at 6 p.m.
