FINDLAY, Ohio/SOUTH BEND, Ind.— Members of the Miami University track and field program traveled to two different events in the Midwest this weekend to compete, with most of the RedHawks at the University of Findlay's Flag City Tune-Up and others participating in the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame. The Red and White had solid showings at both locations in the final indoor meets before the upcoming women's MAC Championships (Feb. 23-24 in Ypsilanti, Mich.).

The Miami women are back in action at the MAC Championships Feb. 23-24 on the campus of Eastern Michigan University.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- At the Alex Wilson Invitational, Jenna Sayle finished in third place in the women's mile event with a time of 5:03.37. In the women's 3000-meter event, Annie Christie finished in fourth place with a time of 9:52.43. Julia Rushing (10:05.09) and Ava Nuttall (10:07.23) also competed in the 3000-meter and finished in eighth and ninth place.
- On the field for the women, Chloe Rickson (5.56 meters) and Elle Miller (5.27 meters) finished in first and second place in the long jump event. Ella Garvin and Abbi Deisch tied for first place in the high jump event with 1.62 meters. Lisa Froberg and Madison Sisler also competed in the high jump event, and they tied for fifth place with 1.52 meters. Ella Rigel finished in second place in the weight throw event with 18.83 meters, this marks a new PR, and it is the first time she has ever finished higher than 18 meters. In the shot put event, Santornya Ralliford finished in fifth place with 12.92 meters.
- In the women's 60-meter hurdle qualifier, Madison Berger finished in third place with a time of 9.33 seconds, qualifying for the next round. In the next round she finished in third place with a time of 9.30 seconds. Lisa Froberg (9.81 seconds) and Sydney Harmon (9.87 seconds) also finished in seventh and eighth in the 60-meter hurdle final. In the women's 60-meter, Chloe Rickson finished in sixth place with a time of 7.96 seconds. Sydney Harmon also finished in eighth place of the 60-meter with a time of 8.09 seconds. In the women's 200-meter dash, Kate Pratt finished in sixth place with a time of 26.95 seconds. In the women's 400-meter dash, Rachel Smith finished in first place with a time of 59.27 seconds.
- In the men's 60-meter dash, Angelo Vassilakis finished in eighth place with a time of 7.07 seconds. In the men's 60-meter hurdle, Eman Alfred finished in second place with a time of 8.21 seconds. Joshua Mikulka also ran in the 60-meter hurdle and finished in sixth place with a time of 8.71 seconds.
- On the field for the men, Logan Vowles finished in first place in the men's high jump event with 1.98 meters. Reilly Worthington (15.15 meters) and Ben Riegel (15.12 meters) finished in fifth and sixth place in the shot put event. Andrew Farrow finished in second place in the triple jump event with 14.09 meters. Farrow also competed in the long jump event and finished in fourth place with 6.79 meters. Quinn Kroneker finished in fifth place in the pole vault event with 4.31 meters.

The Miami women are back in action at the MAC Championships Feb. 23-24 on the campus of Eastern Michigan University.
