Miami answered with a 7-0 run in a 75 second span to go up 36-23 and led 39-26 at the half.
  • Miami opened the second half on a 9-2, pushing their lead to 20, 48-28, capped by a Tretter triple. Several times the Panthers climbed to within 15, but Miami closed the quarter, outscoring GSU 7-2 and led 62-41 entering the fourth.
