Miami Makes it 10 Straight Unbeaten at Home with Buffalo Draw

OXFORD, Ohio- The Miami soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against Buffalo at Bobby Kramig Field against Buffalo on Sunday afternoon. The RedHawks move to 7-4-6 (3-3-4 in MAC) and Buffalo is now 10-1-6 (5-1-4 in MAC).


HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Buffalo got a goal in the 38th minute after Carolyn Hinkle got in a low cross to Arianna Zumpano and she fired it across goal to make it 1-0. 
  • Miami tied the game after Taylor Hamlett was hauled down in the box to earn a penalty kick. Jamie Hlebec converted in the 77th minute, slotting the equalizer into the bottom corner.


NOTES

  • Miami had 14 shots to Buffalo's six.
  • The RedHawks had eight corners to the Bulls' two. 
  • The RedHawks extended their home unbeaten streak to 10 matches.
