OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women's basketball team dropped a 69-38 decision to Kent State on Wednesday night at Millett Hall. Jadyn Scott led Miami (2-11, 0-3 MAC) with 10 points while Janee Tyler had 16 points for the Flashes (9-4, 3-0 MAC).

How it Happened:
- A triple from Núria Jurjo and a layup from Jada Scott gave Miami a 12-11 lead midway through the opening quarter. Six straight to close the first put KSU up 17-12.
- KSU opened the second quarter on a 6-0 run to take a 23-12 advantage with eight minutes left in the half. Back-to-back layups from Jadyn Scott cut the deficit to seven, but a put-back buck from the Flashes made it 25-16 midway through the second quarter. The Flashes closed the quarter on a 13-5 run and led 38-21 at the half.
- Riley Neal opened the second half with a layup to make it 38-23, but despite holding the Flashes to just 11 points in the quarter, Miami trailed 49-28 entering the final stanza.
- Kent State outscored Miami 20-10 in the fourth to claim the 69-38 victory.

- Amber Tretter had a career-best three blocks in the contest.
