MISSOULA, Mont.- The Miami soccer team lost to Montana 4-0 at South Campus Stadium on Thursday night. This was the RedHawks' final non-conference game. Miami falls to 3-4-1 and Montana improves to 6-2-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Montana took the lead in the 13th minute when Sydney Haustein slotted one in after a pass from Delaney Lou Schorr and Skyleigh Thompson.
- Thompson converted a penalty kick to double Montana's lead in the 59th minute.
- Thompson scored her second goal of the evening on a shot from outside the 18-yard box in the 71st minute.
- Eliza Bentler capped off Montana's scoring after she dragged the ball around Mallory Thomas and slotted it into the net in the 79th minute.
NOTES
- Camber Hayes pulled in a goal inside 10 minutes of the first half before it was immediately brought back for offside.
- Miami had four corners to Montana's one.
- Thomas made four saves for the Red and White.
- Makenna Morrison led the RedHawks with four shots.
