Fisher Qualifies for U.S. Amateur

CHICAGO— Miami University senior Danny Fisher tied for first place at Monday's qualifier to earn a spot in the 123rd USGA Amateur Championship. Fisher (69-68—137) and Iowa's Mac McClear both shot a total score of five under par over two rounds to advance to the US Amateur, which will be held at Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado next month.
