COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Miami University golf team tied for ninth at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State after posting a three-round score of 897 (296-296-305).
Jack Ebner and
Danny Fisher were Miami's leaders and each tied for 10th place out of 99 individual participants.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ebner (73-71-74–218) finished five above par through three rounds. He moved up three places in the final round after shooting three above par.
- Fisher (72-71-75–218) also finished five above par. His final round was highlighted by a string of nine straight pars on the back nine to finish the tournament.
- Michael Weber (76-75-78–229) finished 16 above par. He shot seven over par in round three.
- Brett Podobinski (75-80-78–233) shot seven above par during round three and Sam West (77-79-83–239) shot 12 above par during round three.
- Cameron Pero (78-73-82–233), who competed as an individual, was 11 over par for round three.
- The RedHawks' team score put them 45 over par for three rounds and tied them with Creighton.

Miami's regular-season slate has come to a close. The RedHawks will head to Athens, Ala. on April 30-May 2 where they will look to take the 2023 MAC championship title.
