For the third year in a row, the Miami University men's swimming and diving team emerged victorious at the 2023 Mid-American Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, March 4. The RedHawks earned a combined 755 points to take the win, finishing ahead of six teams.

Zach Bann. All-MAC Second Team was awarded to
Tommy Frye,
Uroš Djokovic,

Mason Miller.

How It Happened:
- The final day of competition kicked off with the 1650 freestyle. Evan Kindseth finished second for Miami, earning a program top-five time of 15:38.02. Also in top eight, Frye placed fifth (15:47.67) and Nick Barrows placed eighth (15:56.57). Also for RedHawks, Yonatan Rosin finished 10th with a time of 16:01.78.
- Blazer crushed the program record in the 200 backstroke, earning second place and a time of 1:45.48. Also in championship finals, Bann earned fifth with a time of 1:47.20. Consolation finals had Mason Miller in ninth (1:47.29) and Fitz Miller in 13th (1:51.39).
- In the 100 freestyle, Herczeg placed fifth in championship finals with a time of 44.48. Djokovic placed 12th in consolation finals, earning a time of 45.13.
- Dulay earned both a top-five program time and a NCAA B cut qualifier in the 200 breaststroke, finishing third with a time of 1:57.95. Also in championship finals, Benjamin Eichberg turned in a program top-10 time and finished fourth (1:58.93) and Van Gorp finished eighth (2:00.51).
- Another top-five time was picked up by Duvenhage with his win in the 200 butterfly, where he earned a NCAA B cut qualifying time of 1:44.08. Cotton landed in fourth (1:47.05) and Frye came in eighth (1:54.43) to round out championship finals. In consolation finals, Scott Spear took 15th with a time of 1:52.97.
- Finals for the 3 meter dive saw a sixth-place finish from Victor Hearn, who totaled 277.10 points.
- The MAC Championships closed out with the 400 freestyle relay. The RedHawks A relay team of Herczeg, Mason Miller, Djokovic and Duvenhage finished fourth, earning a combined time of 2:58.53.

Miami will send representatives to the CSCAA National Invitational Championships and the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. Both events will take place between Thursday, March 9, and Saturday, March 11.
