Nuttall, Harders Excel For RedHawks in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C.- Ava Nuttall and Charlie Harders got the RedHawks off to a great start this weekend at the Raleigh Relays, putting their names in the program's record book with standout performances on the track.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Nuttall shattered the previous school record by 25 seconds in the 10k with a time of 33:10.75, taking sixth place. Nuttall's previous PR was 33:38.00.
  • Harders moved to number two on Miami's all-time list in the steeplechase, producing a time of 8:43.60, good for a sixth-place finish. Harders' time was a personal-best by nearly 12 seconds. Anton Martinez also competed for the RedHawks in the steeple, finishing the race with a time of 9:21.08.

WHAT'S NEXT
The RedHawks continue the weekend with events starting at 9:45 a.m. for field and 12:50 p.m. on the track Friday.
