Members of the Miami University swimming teams traveled to the 2023 CSCAA National Invitational Championships, which ran from Thursday, March 9, to Saturday, March 11, in Elkhart, Ind. The men's team closed out the weekend for the RedHawks in 26th place, while the women's team finished in 35th place.

How It Happened:
- Competition began on Thursday with the 200 freestyle relay. The RedHawks men's A relay team of Mason Miller, Owen Blazer, Ian Van Gorp and Uroš Djokovic finished 21st with a time of 1:22.07, while the women's A relay team placed 28th, with Greta Kolbeck, Jenna Halliday, Angelina Cakuls and Honor Brodie-Foy earning a combined time of 1:34.49.
- Henju Duvenhage took a second-place finish in the men's 50 butterfly finals with a time of 21.13. In the women's event, McKenzie Reid finished 12th with a time of 24.62.
- Thursday closed out with the 400 medley relay. The men's A relay team of Zach Bann, Adrian Dulay, Duvenhage and Djokovic tied for 25th with a time of 3:18.78. The women's A relay team of Cakuls, Ashley Sego, Erin Szczupakiewicz and Julia Waechter earned a combined time of 3:49.41 and placed 37th.
- Friday kicked off with the 200 medley relay. Miami's men's A relay team finished 25th, with Blazer, Benjamin Eichberg, Duvenhage and Miller earning a combined time of 1:29.70. For the women's A relay team, Halliday, Sara Lahrach-Sanchez, Reid and Brodie-Foy placed 28th with a combined time of 1:43.13.
- Duvenhage took sixth in the men's 100 butterfly finals, earning a program top-10 time of 47.21. Reid finished 20th for the women's team with a time of 55.20.
- In the women's 200 freestyle, Kolbeck placed sixth in finals with a time of 1:47.59.
- The men's 100 backstroke had Blazer taking 15th, turning in a time of 48.94.
- The final event of Friday was the 800 freestyle relay, where the men's A relay team of Djokovic, Allen Cotton, Scott Spear and Tommy Frye earned 15th place with a combined time of 6:40.92. The women's A relay team landed in 11th, with Kolbeck, Waechter, Audrey Conley and Katheryn Antonowich earning a combined time of 7:25.61.
- Miami only competed in preliminary events on Saturday. Duvenhage broke the CSCAA record in the men's 100 IM, finishing first with a time of 47.97.
- Cotton took 12th in the men's 200 butterfly, earning a time of 1:47.61.
- The RedHawks finished their appearance on Saturday with the men's 400 freestyle relay. The A relay team of Miller, Van Gorp, Djokovic and Blazer placed fourth with a combined time of 3:03.41.
