The Miami University men's swimming and diving team closed out the first day of the 2023 Mid-American Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships tied for second place overall. After two relay events, the RedHawks earned a total of 66 points, putting them just behind Ball State University in first (70 points) and equal to Missouri State University.

How It Happened:
- The championships kicked off with the 200 medley relay. Miami's A relay team of Owen Blazer, Adrian Dulay, Henju Duvenhage and Mason Miller finished second, earning a program top-five qualifying combined time of 1:26.46.
- Day one ended with the 800 freestyle relay, where the A relay team of Uroš Djokovic, Matt Fetterman, Scott Spear and Jack Herczeg combined for a time of 6:34.19, which placed them top-five in the program. Djokovic's lead-off time of 1:37.18 also placed him in the top-five program times for the 200 freestyle.
