BOSTON, Mass.-- Several of the Miami University track and field team's distance runners competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday night.

The RedHawks travel to Findlay, Ohio on February 17 and South Bend, Ind. on February 18 to compete in the Flag City Open and the Alex Wilson Invitational, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Carmen Riano (16:01.99), Annie Christie (16:28.09), and Ava Nuttall (16:29.17) all ran in the 5000m and finished in 23rd, 53rd, and 55th, respectively. Julia Rushing ran in the 3000m and finished in 89th place with a time of 9:40.86. Christie set a new PR by 52 seconds. Rushing also set a new PR by nearly a second, improving a time that already ranked ninth in program history.
