OXFORD, Ohio – Miami Volleyball has added two signees for the 2024-25 season, Sophie Crawford and Lydia Michelin.
"Both Lydia and Sophie are excellent student-athletes who will not only enjoy the high level of competitive volleyball, but the quality and challenges of Miami's fine academic offerings as well!", said head coach Carolyn Condit.

Sophie Crawford, 6-2, Setter, Kalamazoo, Mich./Gull Lake
High School:
Condit on Crawford: "Sophie brings a remarkable enthusiasm to the game along with a work ethic that makes her a pleasure to coach. Her foot speed to the ball allows her to turn bad balls good for her hitters, which showcases her fine athleticism! As a 6'1 setter, Sophie has the capacity to be a strong leader in this role, which will make her a great addition to our team. She has the competitive drive to advance her own game and the ability to help her teammates do the same!"

Lydia Michelin, 6-1, Middle Blocker, Milford, Mich./Milford
High School:
Condit on Michelin: "Lydia brings her experience as a middle blocker to our RedHawk program and will certainly add to our offensive success. She is a high flyer with quick lateral movement and an incredible lift off the floor. Her gift of speed and jumping ability will make her a strong blocker and an attacker to contend with in college. We count on Lydia's competitive drive, great attitude and eagerness to learn to help elevate our court!"
