MONROE, La. – Jadyn Scott scored a career-high 23 points and added nine rebounds and four assists in a 78-62 loss to Louisiana at Monroe. Hennessey Luu-Brown added 12 points and five assists for Miami (0-2). ULM (1-1) was led by Daish Bradford's 30 points.
ULM connected on 15-of-34 three pointers, while the RedHawks were just 3-of-18 from behind the arc. The Warhawks won the battle on the boards (41-31).

How it Happened:
- ULM raced out to an early 13-6 advantage midway through the opening quarter, before a triple from Luu-Brown cut the deficit to four. The Warhawks answered with an 8-2 run to claim a 21-11 lead with 4:04 left in the first. Miami trailed 25-17 after 10 minutes of play despite 13 combined points from Luu-Brown and Jadyn Scott.
- The Warhawks opened the second quarter with a 6-2 run and led 31-19 with 4:21 left in the first half. Miami answered with a 9-0 run with five-straight points from freshmen Maddy Huhn and Lakresha Edwards and four points from Jadyn Scott to make it 31-28 with 1:26 to play. ULM closed on a 5-2 run and led 36-30 at the half.
- Jadyn Scott scored the opening bucket of the second half, but ULM then went on a 22-7 run to close the third and led 58-39 with 10 minutes to play.
- A triple from Huhn made it 58-44 with 9:14 to go, but Miami could get no closer.
Game Notes:
- Freshman Maddy Huhn recorded the first three-pointer of her career and added a career-best eight points and eight rebounds.
- Freshman Amber Tretter recorded a career best four assists.
- After scoring five points in the season opener, Jadyn Scott scored a team-high 23 points, 12 coming in the first half.
- Miami had 36 points in the paint compared to ULM's 16.
