OXFORD, Ohio — The Miami University hockey team fell to (RV/RV) Colorado College 4-1 on Saturday night. Max Dukovac scored a second-period goal for the RedHawks (4-5-1, 0-4-0 NCHC), while Noah Laba had a pair of goals to lead the Tigers (7-3-0, 2-2-0 NCHC).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

11:43 1st (CC 1-0) | Laba started the scoring with a 2-on-1 break off a pass from Gleb Veremyev. Logan Neaton sprawled out to stop Laba's shot attempt, but the loose puck behind him eventually crossed the goal line to make it 1-0.
2:00 2nd (CC 2-0) | Ryan Beck was in the right place at the right time to take a centering pass from Bret Link to the back of the net and push CC's lead to 2-0. Logan Will was also credited with an assist on the play.
5:08 2nd (Miami 2-1) | Dukovac buried a hard-angle shot from near the goal line on Kaidan Mbereko's right to cut the Tigers' lead in half. Michael Feenstra controlled the loose puck at center ice before passing it to John Waldron, who in turn fed it to Dukovac for the goal.
17:31 2nd (CC 3-1) | Laba picked up the puck on an unassisted breakaway while the Tigers were short-handed to put one by Neaton and stretch the margin to 3-1.
19:47 3rd (CC 4-1) | The visitors collected an empty-net goal with 13 seconds remaining, as Drew Montgomery finished the play off a pass from Stanley Cooley.

GAME NOTES:

Dukovac had a career-high five shots on goal and was named the game's Third Star.
Both teams finished with 31 shots on goal; Dukovac and Matthew Barbolini led the RedHawks with five apiece.
Neaton secured 27 saves in net.
Feenstra has produced an assist in four of the last six contests.
The RedHawks and Tigers were both 0-5 on the power play.
