BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— The Miami University indoor track and field team had a strong performance at the Indiana Relays on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

In the women's 60m hurdles, senior Kayla Walters finished in sixth place with a time of 8.92. In the women's 60m, Camryn Dunn led the way, finishing in 13th place with a time of 7.85. Ella Scally finished right behind her in 15th place with a time of 7.86. Marta Cepeda Perez came in second in the women's 600m with a time of 1:33.95. In the women's 200m, Abby Suszek was the highest placing RedHawk, coming in 17th place with a time of 25.97.
For the distance team, Ella Boate ran the mile, and she finished 10th with a time of 5:16.4. The women's distance medley team came in fifth place with a time of 11:50.57. Annie Christie, Abby Suszek, Nora Zubillaga, and Carmen Riano were all a part of that team.
On the field, Kayla Walters came in 10th place in the women's long jump with her highest score being 5.17. In the women's high jump, Elle Miller (1.65) and Abbi Deisch (1.56) came in second and fourth place respectively.
In the men's 60m hurdles, unattached runners Eman Alfred (8.36) and Jacob Ranker (8.36) finished in fifth and seventh. In the men's 60 m, unattached runner Julian Wagner came in ninth place with a time of 6.94. Unattached runner Sam Pearl took first place in the 600m with a time of 1:19.37. In the men's 200m, Ranker took 10th place with a time of 22.23.
