BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Miami track & field team finished off the weekend with a great performance on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the women's 60m hurdles final, senior Kayla Walters finished sixth with a time of 9.00. For the distance team, Carmen Riano led the way in the 3000m by coming in fourth place with a time of 9:27.97. Ava Nuttall (9:42.17) and Annie Christie (9:43.89) were both looking right outside the top ten coming in 11th and 12th respectively. Both, along with Riano set personal records in the 3,000m. Nora Zubillaga was the highest placing RedHawk in the 800m coming in 18th and beat her previous PR by nearly a full second. The women's 4x400 team of Sydney Harmon, Camryn Dunn, Marta Cepeda Pérez, and Abby Suszek came in second place with a time of 3:53.00.
- On the field, Emily Eterovich came in sixth place in the women's pole vault event with 3.48m. Sara Cupp was the leading RedHawk in the women's shot put event, she finished in 15th place with 12.20m.
- Charlie Harders ran the mile unattached and finished in first place with a time of 4:01.97. In the men's 60m hurdles final, unattached runners Eman Alfred (8.32) and Jacob Ranker (8.39) finished in fourth and fifth place. Unattached runner Jacob Matthews finished in 10th place in the 400m final with a time of 50.33. In the 800m, unattached runner Andrew Schroff finished in seventh place with a time of 1.51.41. Unattached runners Jake Bertelsen (8:13.58), Max Polak (8:15.61), and Mhalicki Bronson (8:18.22) all broke their previous personal bests in the 3000m.
