RedHawks Fall at #4 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – On Thursday night the Miami University field hockey team fell to No. 4 University of Michigan 1-0. The loss drops Miami to 2-3, while taking Michigan to 3-1 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Miami returns home Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. to face Ohio State University in Oxford.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- At the end of the first quarter, the score remained 0-0.
- Just over two minutes into the second quarter, Michigan scored the only goal of the game to go on top 1-0.
- The Wolverines maintained their lead into the final quarter.
- Following a valiant effort through multiple penalty corners, the RedHawks ultimately lost 1-0.
- Isabelle Perese made eight saves for Miami.
Miami returns home Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. to face Ohio State University in Oxford.
