Carmen Riano set a meet record in the 3000 steeplechase at last weekend's MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships
Eight RedHawks Earn All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND-- The Mid-American Conference announced its 2022 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Awards Tuesday, with Miami University well-represented. Eight RedHawks earned All-MAC honors, led by Carmen Riano, who was named Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer.Â
Riano, who won the 3000 steeplechase and the 5000 at last weekend's MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, was named First Team All-MAC, while Ava Nuttall was selected to the Second Team. On the men's side, Miami had three First Team performers: Luke Finnegan, Charlie Harders and Finley Mclear. The RedHawk men also had three Second Team honorees: Anthony Camerieri, Obsaa Feda and Anthony Vlatko.
All awards are voted on by the head coaches in the conference, with the exception of All-MAC Teams and Freshmen Performers of the Year, which are determined on points earned at the conference championship meet. The complete list of All-MAC selections is below.
