For the second consecutive season, Peyton Scott has earned second-team All-MAC honors, announced by the league office on Tuesday, March 8.

Scott, a native of Lynchburg, Ohio, averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest, starting all 29 games for the Red and White. She scored in double-figures in 27 of 29 contests and recorded at least five rebounds 20 different times.

The junior, who ranks ninth all-time in Miami scoring with 1,441 career points, had 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Xavier. She also had 25 points and 11 rebounds against Evansville and 32 points and 10 rebounds versus Eastern Michigan.

Scott ranks seventh in Miami history in free throws made (294), fifth in career free throw percentage (.833) and fifth in 20-points games (25).
