ATHENS, Ohio – Three different RedHawks scored in double figures on Wednesday night but it wasn't enough as the Miami University women's basketball team (8-20, 4-15 MAC) dropped a 73-64 decision to the Ohio Bobcats at the Convocation Center. Peyton Scott had a game-high 23 points, while Ivy Wolf added 16 and Maddi Cluse chipped in with 12. Cece Hooks led the Bobcats (15-12, 9-9 MAC) with 23 points.

How it Happened:
- Ohio raced out to a 20-7 advantaged with four minutes left in the opening quarter. Back-to-back triples from Cluse and Scott made it 20-13 and Miami trailed 24-18 after 10 minutes of play.
- An old-fashioned three-point play from Scott gave Miami a 35-34 lead with 30 seconds to play in the first half, but a late triple from OU, sent the Bobcats to the locker room, leading 37-35.
- Both defenses played well in the third quarter as the Bobcats went into the fourth quarter up 53-47.
- Ohio led 64-54 midway through the fourth before Cluse rattled off five quick points to cut the deficit in half, but the RedHawks could get no closer.
Game Notes:
- Scott had her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
- Cluse scored in double figures (12 points) for the first time since scoring 12 at Ball State on Jan. 24.
- Wolf matched her career-high with three steals.
