RedHawks See Success at Alex Wilson Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Miami University track and field program had many accomplishments at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind.

The RedHawks next compete at the MAC Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 25.
Top Women's Results:
- On the women's side, Faith Baxter finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 57.14. Teammates Abby Suszek (third), Gabby Cossio (fourth), and Lucca Agate (fifth) were close behind. Cossio, Agate, Suszek, and Baxter combined later in the meet to capture first place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:54.33.
- Emily Akin ran 4:54.13 in the 1 mile for a third-place finish.
- Lucca Agate finished fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.43.
- Taylor Manley had a strong showing in the triple jump with a jump of 10.95m to capture second place.
Top Men's Results:
- For the men, Jake Bertelsen recorded a time of 8:16.26 in the 3,000 meters to finish first. Max Polak (fourth) and Obsaa Feda (fifth) added for the RedHawk team.
- The team of Ibukunoluwa Alfred, Leo Bouldin, Jacob Matthews, and Jacob Ranker finished second in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:27.67.
The RedHawks next compete at the MAC Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 25.
