Ann Arbor, Mich.—For the second time in as many outings this season, the Miami University senior synchronized skating team earned a combined score of 200 or more as the RedHawks captured first place at the 26th Annual Porter Classic. Miami registered a season-best combined score of 206.98.

Miami's collegiate team closes out the Porter Classic for the RedHawks, competing among a 10-team field on Sunday at 11:25 a.m. The RedHawk senior team will be idle from competition until traveling to Salzburg, Austria for the Mozart Cup Jan. 20-21.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Miami posted a score of 139.59 for its free skate program with an executed element score of 72.79 and a component score of 67.80 with a deduction for a fall.
- The RedHawks amassed a combined score of 206.98 at the Porter Classic, besting second-place Adrian College (170.71) by more than 36 points.
