Eight RedHawks Named Academic All-MAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio-- The Mid-American Conference announced the 2022 Cross Country Academic All-MAC Team this afternoon, with eight RedHawks among the honorees. Jake Bertelsen, Dan Conway, Gianna Labbiento, Elena Pazman, Carmen Riano, Lotti Roemer, Julia Rushing and Jenna Sayle were included in the 109-member squad.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
