Carmen Riano Earns Trip to NCAA Championships

OXFORD, Ohio—Carmen Riano will be representing the Miami women's cross country program this year at the NCAA Championships. She was one of four individual qualifiers from the Great Lakes Region and one of 38 total women selected as individual qualifiers.
Riano has had a great season so far, finishing in the top three on three different occasions, including winning Miami's first individual MAC title since 2007. She placed 15th at Friday's NCAA regionals with a 6k time of 20:19.3.
Riano will be running at 10:20 a.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 19 in Stillwater, Okla. at Oklahoma State University. The event will air on ESPNU.
