MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Miami University golf team is tied for eleventh after the first two rounds of the Marquette Intercollegiate at Marquette University. The team's total score for the first rounds was 26 over par, and
Danny Fisher was the top scorer for the RedHawks, shooting four above par, tying for 23rd individually.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Danny Fisher's three first round birdies allowed him to finish the opening round one stroke above par.
- Cameron Pero made three birdies during the second round's first four holes, boosting him to a plus on finish for the second round.
- Brett Podobinski was Miami's second best finisher, sitting in 45th place and seven over par after two rounds.
- The RedHawks shot 15 over par on par threes, 37 over par on par fours, and seven under par on par fives as a team.
- Miami's team score was 296 strokes in the first round and 290 strokes in the second round.
