Indoor Track Wraps Up Day Two of the Indiana University Relays

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Miami University indoor track and field squad put up a strong showing on the final day of Indiana University Relays on Saturday, contributing great results.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The RedHawks will travel to South Bend for the Meyo Invite on February 4.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Kayla Walters captured second place in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.08. Jacob Ranker finished in third place in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.18 in the finals.
- Emily Akin was the top finisher for the 'Hawks in the 1-mile race, finishing in 20th with a time of 4:58.95. Anthony Camerieri continued his success from last week, finishing fourth in the 3000-meter event, with a time of 7:54.16.
- Over on the field, Sarah Bruns finished fourth in the women's shot-put indoor pentathlon, with a 11.16-meter throw. Bruns continued her success in the women's long jump pentathlon, finishing in fifth with a 5.32-meter jump.
The RedHawks will travel to South Bend for the Meyo Invite on February 4.
