The Miami University men's golf team finished day one of the Spartan Collegiate at Sea Island after carding a 36-hole score of 582 (289-293) to sit in 10th place.

How it Happened:
- Danny Fisher sits in a tie for seventh after shooting 70-72. The freshman is currently three shots off the lead.
- Jack Herceg shot 73-72 and sits in a tie for 27th among the 80 golfers.
- Also competing for the RedHawks were Charlie Nikitas (70-75—145, T-27th), Cam Solomon (79-74—153, T-65th) and Jack Katarincic (76-79—155, 73rd). Katarincic recorded a hole-in-one on the third hole in round one.
