
Outdoor Track Competes in Day One of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Miami University men's and women's outdoor track squads competed in day one of the Raleigh Relays at NC State, seeing good results against top competition from across the NCAA.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Kayla Walters competed in the 100-meter hurdles for the RedHawks, finishing in 19th (third in her heat) with a time of 14.62.
- In the men's 1500-meters, Anthony Camerieri (45th, 3:50.12) and Andrew Schroff (48th, 3:50.41) made strong showings in their outdoor debuts.
- To finish the night for Miami, Jake Bertelsen competed in the 5000-meters, finishing in 77th in a stacked field, with a time of 14:40.32.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The RedHawks continue their stint at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 26, with multiple events taking place throughout the day.
