OXFORD, Ohio — The Miami University women's swimming and diving team continued its home schedule with a meet against Ohio University and the University of Toledo on Saturday afternoon. The RedHawks defeated Ohio, 189-109, and also defeated Toledo, 207-93.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Against Ohio:
- Braelyn Binkowski, Emily O'Connell, Honor Brodie-Foy, and Sara Lahrach-Sanchez took top honors in the 200 medley relay, finishing in 1:44.25.
- Lahrach-Sanchez also had an individual victory, winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.80. Brodie-Foy did the same in the 50 freestyle, finishing in 23.42.
- Nicole Maier claimed three victories on the day, winning the 500 freestyle (4:55.82), 200 IM (2:04.44) and the 200 freestyle (1:48.77).
- Kayleigh Cannon continued her success in the butterfly events, winning the 200 fly (2:02.45) 100 fly (55.20)
- Maddie Folta collected two diving victories, winning the three-meter (280.05) and one-meter (272.25) events.
Against Toledo:
- Peyton Rayburn claimed her first two victories of the season, winning the 200 backstroke (2:07.51) and the 100 backstroke (58.70).
- Rachel Botting, Brodie-Foy, O'Connell, and Caroline Ehlers finished the day winning the 200 freestyle relay.
