Collegiate Team Seizes First Place at Porter Classic

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—Completing a superb weekend for the RedHawks at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic, the Miami University collegiate synchronized skating team had a dominant performance on Sunday afternoon to finish first among the 11-team field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The RedHawks compiled a score of 103.93 for their free skate program, bettering their previous season-best score by more than 15 points and posting the collegiate program's best score since the 2019 U.S. National Championships.
- Miami finished nearly 15 points ahead of its nearest competitor at the Porter Classic on Sunday.
- Western Michigan placed second (88.95), followed by Michigan (87.83) and Delaware (85.04) to round out the top five.
