Senior Team Takes Gold at Porter Classic

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—Continuing a stellar weekend at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic, the Miami University senior synchronized skating team again turned in another season-best performance in the free skate event on Saturday night. Miami finished in first place among the three-team field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Miami compiled a free skate score of 123.18, nearly 10 points better than its previous season-best score.
- The RedHawks finished the competition with a combined score of 192.30, bettering its best total score of the season by nearly 15 points.
- In the free skate, Miami posted an 8.53 advantage over its nearest competitor with Adrian College notching a score of 114.60 and Crystallettes earning a score of 109.28.
- Finishing the competition nearly 20 points ahead of its nearest competitor, Miami posted its second first-place finish of the season. Crystallettes placed second (170.41), while Adrian College (169.00) finished third.
